Raising Smart Kids

Here's a great article from Scientific American about the importance of stressing effort over intelligence. We worry more about how smart our kids are than how much work they're putting into things. I've seen this on the low end ("I'm dumb, why bother trying.") to the high end ("I already know this, why do I need to do it?")

Fabulous article. I am passing the word at school about it. Something not only parents need to hear, but teachers, also. As usual, you find the very best info.!
