Finally got a copy of this from the library and it is everything you've heard and more. It explores the themes of emigration and immigration. It does what only the best literature can, make the personal universal and vice-versa. It is completely fantastical and hyper-realistic at the same time. It is emotional, beautiful, frightening and dark. It makes you love and fear people.
Oh, and it's wordless.
