One of the book banners was a Baptist minister who hadn't even read the book. It was mentioned that 97% of the students in the classes had gotten written permission from their parents to read the book. Luckily for the side of reason, many more people showed up in defense if the book and our basic freedoms. The book is now under review by the board.
