No arguments from me. Rainbow Fish doesn't even make any sense. Never liked that one. I like Robert Munch and his website rocks. You can listen to him read the books out loud and remember: he's a storyteller first and even gives tips on how to personalize the stories for your kids. But this book should have been called I'll Make You Gag Forever. I ran a successful campaign at a bookstore to have it reshelved in the Parenting section. The book is less irksome when people realize IT'S NOT FOR CHILDREN. And I have a deep affection for Shel Silverstein. But The Giving Tree makes no sense and is just one of those books that people pass on because people pass it on.
