Diigo

You probably already have a Google Notebook or del.icio.us or some other web-based bookmarking tool (or at least I hope you do). Diigo is a mashup of those with a social networking spin. You can bookmark and tag just like the others, but you can also highlight and add stickies and share all this stuff. I'm especially excited about the researching possibilities as I embark on the next couple of years of media specialist classwork. Give it a spin. (If you like it, it's easy to transfer your bookmarks from one of those other sites.
