I GOT A JOB!

I've just found out that next year I will be an actual school librarian at a lovely little elementary school here in the Atlanta suburbs. A Title I school with a 530 or so enrollment with a mixed schedule and no AR.

It's going to be quite an adventure.

So much to do...

So much to learn...

Where to begin?

Whew!

Thank you all! I learn so much from your blogs and comments, thanks.

And yes, it's in my county about 15 minutes from my house.

Congratulations, Son. You've worked hard and will enjoy this gift. A shout-out to your beautiful wife, who did some heavy lifting along as a partner in this, and of course to "Wonder Woman"! You all did a great job and helped each other for this dream to come true.

HE, Nancy, Victoria,

Thank You!

Wow I am so very happy for you. Will you change the moniker form Teacherninja to libraryninja??

Jim (Teacherninja) said...

Cathy,

I don't know. Hadn't thought of that. I was thinking it made a fun play on "Teacher-Librarian" and I do own the domain name, but I'll think about it.

Thanks!

Fantastic! Lucky kids to be getting you!

CONGRATS!!! (especially the "no AR" part) And my advice is to never lose the "TEACHER" part of your moniker. No matter where you go or what your official job title is, you will ALWAYS be a teacher!

Christine,

Thanks, I hope so!

Mary Lee,

You nailed it, thanks so much.
