Virtual Playdate

That's my daughter on her computer playing Minecraft.  You'll notice at the base of the monitor she has her iPod set on Facetime, so that is a live feed of her friend also playing Minecraft.  They cannot only see and hear each other on the Facetime hookup, but they're playing in a shared Minecraft world, so their avatars are interacting in the game.

It's a whole different world, let me tell ya. No tin cans with strings for these kids.
